Something happened today. I finally was scouted in the art portal by user MageRabbit. I've been a member since 2010, posting art rather regularly! I've finally been scouted. Newgrounds is a great community, that has its ups and downs. Maybe I never really got involved enough. I just uploaded my stuff and hoped for the best. I kept thinking that by being seen in art collaborations and forum discussions, I'd finally be scouted. This meant getting a lot more exposure, and that people would see my work much more easily. I saw it as a whole different treatment!

I never made that big of a deal about never being scouted. There's tons of ways on the web to show your art, but I never felt the need to try anything else. I always only had that facebook page and Newgrounds. It always made me wonder "Am I that bad?" I know I've never been a top talent, and probably never will be a cartoon superstar. But I never let myself brought down by never being scouted. I thought "Some good soul will stumble upon me, someday" and I just went back to work, improving them skills.

People will ask me "What? The Newgrounds art portal? What's that?"

But hey... I've been a lurking member for 8 years. And yes. I'm friggin proud. Thanks MageRabbit
