yep, big Gorillaz fan here, too. and that song is beast!!!! we needed more shots of Russell in the film, his drumming is just pounding!!
Wait, so Jamie Hewlett himself helped you with the storyboard?? how did that not end up in the official Gorillaz stuff??? that was awesome, I'm looking forward for more!

frameslinger responds:

Jamie Hewlett did not make this storyboard for me. He made it when the album came out and they never finished this video. I took it as a challenge for myself to complete the video for them. Hopefully he sees it and enjoys it.

There will be more so keep checking!

aww this is so heartwarming... and that little music at the end.

funymony responds:

Yeah, there's some goldies in the stock music library I use.

I laughed at the Seinfeld outro... is that what you'd call irony??

Alienslushie responds:

No, I don't think that would really be the right use of irony at all but I could be wrong

you know what they say: Golden showers bring may flowers!! yuk yuk
good work on the frame by frame. you put a lot of effort into it. some key poses need a little more polish though.

ElectroJoe responds:

Thanks for your comment on the animation! Had to rush parts because I wanted to get this out by the 21st for Spring, and I'm usually not giving myself deadlines for my other big animation projects, unless they involve a specific date. Certainly will make sure the next animation is cleaner.

is that a loop??? I'm still watching

TBAThunderBrain responds:

it keeps looping yep

2 stars, is that ok?

plasticapple responds:

Eh, sure.

3 stars, is that ok???

FotAnimaciones responds:

3 star is good

some things should remain unfinished, and that's okay

thatawkwardkid responds:

Maybe

what I think the meaning is: Stuff comes out of nowhere, from the sky, nature, etc, and changes your perception about your surroundings, then makes you realize how everyone is so common, like the spineless molllusks that they are, stuck in their shell and rotting away in them.

I like abstract, creepy and open-ended stuff like that.... keep it up, myan!

Manases responds:

This feels really cool, you hit the nail since it's not so different from my perspective. I think I might leave it up to the viewer to think for themselves but i'll make sure to have a more concrete solid environment, story, set, etc. So it will be more enjoyable to watch future uploads! Cheers, man!

Very good production in general! he dialogue, and the plot works...who cares about the message :) I'm sure people like that exists anyway. The key poses need some work though, and the animation's a little sharp. but keep it up, you have a good concept, and definitely lots of determination!

SirSalmonator responds:

Thank you! Not really sure how to improve my key poses, but hopefully I'll get better by doing more ^^

2 X 4 = 8 bit. I love animating weird stuff, and character slapstick animation.
